At least five terrorists were killed and three others injured by security forces in separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan’s Kech, Panjgur and Zhob, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
The military’s media wing said security forces are currently conducting extensive IBOs to hunt down the perpetrators of the militant attacks in various parts of Balochistan from earlier this week. “On night Aug. 29-30, in three separate IBOs in District Kech, Panjgur and Zhob, five terrorists were sent to hell by the security forces, while three terrorists got injured during the intense fire exchange,” read the statement.
It said sanitization operations were continuing until all perpetrators, facilitators and abettors of these atrocious acts were brought to justice. The statement asserted that the armed forces, in step with the nation, remained determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan.
