India Using Khawarij as Pawn of Hybrid War against Pakistan: COAS

Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has alleged that India has escalated its proxy war against Pakistan, using Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan as its pawns, after suffering a defeat during Ma’arka-e-Haq.

Addressing the 16th National Workshop Balochistan, including parliamentarians, representatives of civil society, civil servants, academics, media personnel and youth, he resolutely reaffirmed the Army’s unwavering commitment to uproot the menace of terrorism. He also described as inevitable the sociological and economic uplift of Balochistan for national cohesion and integration, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Vehemently condemning India’s blatant sponsorship of terror proxies, the Army chief characterized them as a failed attempt to target the deep-rooted patriotism of the people of Balochistan. He vowed that these proxies would face a similar fate and humiliation as India faced in Ma’arka e Haq.

During his address, said the military’s media wing, the field marshal emphasized that terrorists knew no bounds of religion, sect, or ethnicity, necessitating a unified national response. Collective resolve, he stressed, is imperative to confront this menace.

Field Marshal Munir highlighted the pivotal role of development initiatives in Balochistan, advocating for enhanced inter-agency cooperation and a cohesive national approach to propel provincial progress and national advancement.

While reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, the Army chief underscored the nation’s preparedness to respond decisively to any external or internal threats, protecting national prestige and ensuring the wellbeing of its citizens.

The session concluded, said the ISPR, with a candid interactive discourse between the participants and the Chief of Army Staff.
